09/02/22 - NEW AKC CHAMPION Eaglehill-South's Bewitched (Twitch).  She completed her championship with a 5 point Major at Raleigh KC.  Handled beautifully by Adriano Rocha.

08/04/22 - Eaglehill-South's Bewitched (Twitch) won all 4 days in Salem, VA.  She won a total of 10 points with 2 major wins and needs 1 more point to become our next Champion.  Handled beautifully by Adriano Rocha.

07/10/22 NEW AKC CHAMPION sired by our "Ice".  AKC CH Eaglehill-South Karmel (Karmel) finished with a Major at Trinity KC show under David Kirkland in Dallas, TX.  Karmel was also Winners at the 07/07/22 Lone Star Poodle Specialty #2 for a Major under Nancy Gallant and on 07/08/22 earned an additional 2 points under Randy Garren.  That makes 7 AKC Champions for Ice.

07/01/22 NEW AKC CHAMPION sired by our "Ice" for Jerry Smith.  AKC CH Reyjr Greased Lightnin' (Kinnicki).  That makes 6 AKC Champions for Ice.  Kinnicki was shown and Breeder/Owner handled by Jerry Smith completely to his Championship.

06/30/22 NEW AKC CHAMPION sired by our "Ice" for us at Eaglehill-South.  AKC CH Reyjr Neon Moon At Eaglehill-South (Neon).  That makes 6 AKC Champions for Ice.  Neon was shown and handled by Miyuki Ueno completely to his Championship.

06/04/22 NEW MACH Champion - Eaglehill-South's Sean Mikel O'Konner CD BN RI FDC MX MXB MXJ MJS OF CA FCAT ACT2 CGCA CGCU TKA completed his Agility MACH Championship today.  He is owned by Gail Kendrick and is an Aiden/Kylie son.

06/06/21 NEW AKC CHAMPION Eaglehill-South Fashionsetter (Fendi) was WB/BOW for a 5 Point Major win at Salisbury KC show.  Fendi is the daugher of our CH Eaglehill's Quick Step MX MXJ (Ernie) and CH Safranne's Trendsetter OA OAJ OF DJ. Fendi was shown completely by Rebecca Schnulle to her Championship.

01/25/20 Eaglehill-South Fashionsetter (Fendi) was WB for a 4 Point Major win at Charleston KC show.  Fendi is the daugher of our CH Eaglehill's Quick Step MX MXJ (Ernie) and CH Safranne's Trendsetter OA OAJ OF DJ. Fendi was shown by Rebecca Schnulle.  The judge was Mrs. Lisa Warren.  Fendi has 9 points and both major wins now.

12/15/19 TY wins 2019 AKC Agility Invitational in Orlando, FL today.  The fastest dog in all height divisions.  CH AGCH MACH12 Eaglehill Right On Tyme CDX BN GN RM RAE MXC3 PDG MJS4 PJC MFB2 TQX T2B7 CGC TKA (TY) Ty is owned, trained, and loved by Cathi Winkles.  Congrats to you both.

05/25/19 - NEW Agility Title - CHAMPION Eaglehill-South Ice Breaker of Dulcet Mivida NF NJ CGCA TKN (Ice) earned his Agility Titles of Novice Fast and Novice Jumpers at Hendersonville, NC.

10/28/18 - NEW NATIONAL CHAMPION Biewer Terrier.  Rim achieved his National Level Championship at the IABCA show in King, NC.  He achieved his title with 2 Best Of Breed and a Group 1 and a Group 2.

• Chocolate affects both the heart and nervous system and can cause seizures, coma, and death! note: the darker chocolate the more dangerous.
• Onions contain disulfides which can damage red blood cells in dogs causing anemia.
• Garlic although less toxic than onions can have the same effect causing anemia in dogs by damaging the red blood cells.
• Chives are also part of the onion family and damage blood cells.
• Macadamia Nuts cause weakness, muscle tremors, and vomiting in dogs.
• Walnuts which become moldy after a rain become infected with fungus and mold that produces toxins. If ingested, your Poodle can become extremely ill and possibly die. Signs of walnut poisoning are vomiting, trembling, drooling, lack of coordination, lethargy, loss of appetite, and jaundice indications such as yellowing eyes and gums.
• Fatty Foods - All fatty foods should be avoided especially for dogs who are prone to life-threatening pancreatitis.
• Bones - It's best to not give your dog bones of any kind. They can splinter or get lodged in the intestinal tract or can cause choking. In any case, it's not worth an emergency room visit. Just say no to bones.
• Moldy foods or Spoiled foods - Dog can die from eating moldy or spoiled foods which cause vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, seizures, and death.
• Apple Cores are not safe for dogs. Carefully cut and peeled apples are okay for dogs to eat but never let your dog eat the stems, the core or the seeds of an apple.
• Peach and Plum Pits - the pits of fruits contain cyanide which is deadly to dogs. Other pitted fruits to stay away from are apricots, cherries, etc...
• Potato Peels or Green Potatoes can affect the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems.
• Mushrooms can contain toxins which can lead to death.
• Yeast Dough causes gas and digestive problems. It can also expand rupturing the intestines or stomach.
• Alcoholic beverages of any kind can cause vomiting, decreased coordination, intoxication, tremors, coma, and even death.
• Coffee - Tea - Caffeine should never be given to a dog as it affects the heart and nervous systems and can cause seizures and death.
• Green parts of Tomatoes (leaves, stems) can affect the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems.
• Rhubarb plant can affect the digestive system as well as the urinary and nervous systems.
• Raisins and Grapes can cause kidney damage or failure in dogs.
• Xylitol - a sugar substitute or sweetener used in many human foods can cause liver failure & death in dogs. Dogs become weak. lose coordination, and collapse. Without immediate and proper veterinarian treatment, the dog will die.
• Citrus Fruits including oranges, limes, lemons, grapefruit, etc... can cause vomiting upsetting the digestive system.
• Nutmeg can cause tremors, seizures and death
• Lunch meats or cold cuts contain way too much salt and nitrates which can lead to digestive and kidney problems. Store bought cold cuts are bad foods for dogs.
• Hops which are used to make beer as well as other foods, are very toxic to dogs causing heavy panting, increased heart rate, fever, seizures and death.
• Baby Food although sometimes used in homemade dog treat recipes, it is not to be fed as a substitute or replacement for your dog's food. It's baby food and provides the nutrients for a developing infant. If you do use baby food in dog treat recipes, always read the ingredients first to be sure none of the harmful foods listed above are included (like onions or even onion powder).
